Just like that, the festive season is over! I know we’re all a bit sad to say goodbye to the Christmas trees and stash away our new years liquor until the next big one, but we should all be celebrating… celebrating new beginnings and looking forward to a fresh year to do whatever your heart desires!

We’re here to give you a few tips on how to get your butts back in order and back to your normal, healthy and hopefully an even better lifestyle than before! (As we know it can be a struggle!)

The best thing to start your new year well is to get together a plan of action! By that we mean, set some goals and schedule in your diary when you can take steps to help meet these goals! So go on, sit down with a nice cup of tea and get your new diary and pen out. Schedule in your workout times, even schedule in your workout details, get your social calendar happening and schedule in some time with your mates. Date nights, some me time…put it all in there! You will find it much easier to get back into the swing of things by following a plan of action than making it up along the way!

You knew we were going to say it… EXERCISE! Believe it or not it will make you feel great! Exercising releases those happy endorphins to help you get over those post festive season blues!

Book yourself in for a yoga class! It will leave you feeling energised and refreshed and gives you the chance to reconnect with yourself after the busy season.

Book something for you and your partner or with a few mates, whether it’s a night away or a day out, something that you can look forward to now that the holidays are over.

And last but not least, smile! Have a laugh with the people that matter and you’ll be feeling just as festive as before!
